Welcome! Upward Vision exists to help people achieve their highest potential through mentoring, education, and job training.  Our staff of volunteers and professionals meet the needs of the community by building self-confidence and self-esteem in the most vulnerable members of our society.  We help at-risk children, seniors, inmates, and veterans among others who need guidance and support to build the skills needed to reach their full potential.   Our programs meet the physical and emotional needs of our clients who benefit from the counseling, training, online tools, videos and educational courses that we provide.

Mentoring

Upward Vision is dedicated to helping people achieve their highest potential. The Upward Vision Mentorship Program (Connect) achieves this goal by matching experienced mentors with less-experienced mentees. Mentees gain a trusted advisor to help make decisions that lead to success. Mentors benefit from the rewards of sharing their experiences to help someone else. Mentors and mentees are matched by shared interests and experiences. They agree to build a beneficial, long lasting, relationship through regular online communications. Mentors working with mentees younger than 18 will require additional screening steps for safety reasons. Our senior executives administered the federal Mentoring Children of Prisoners Program successfully for over three years.
